The Blunt Family Coercion of Political Influence
The Blunts use their political influence to buy votes through their lobbyists firms for bills through donations through PACs like they did for Dane Diehl.
Original Article from Shield Maidens
In publishing my most recent article, I noticed a severe suppression.
Substack did not email my article, despite my article being short enough for email.
Despite my active day on X where I engaged Rep. Dane Diehl on his support for Bayer and Monsanto, my X post highlighting my article only recieved 23 views.
Only one Local Conservative Facebook Group shared my article despite sharing to five. There is a strong gatekeeping presence is conservative groups.
My Substack article underperformed dramatically compared to my average posts.
I wanted to do some analysis of the recent bills that are coming up. Shield Maidens has an excellent article with a call to action about the fast-pace of bills this session. There is an air of desperation in the General Assembly to pass as many bills as possible as quickly as possible.
This is unusual since the General Assembly will wait until the last weeks of the session to pass everything under the cover of darkness and backroom deals. Their current actions speak of fear of something looming over them. One can only guess that Trump has the Uniparty of Mitch McConnell frightened. Our Republicans are not Trump Republicans, but McConnell Republicans with their hands deep in the wealth of the taxpayer’s treasury.
Below is an analysis of the bills. You’ll notice how the Blunts continue to come up again and again. We live in a state where we bleed from our treasury where McConnell type Republicans skim more and more from the taxpayer believing their will always be enough wealth to take that no one will notice. The bills they want to pass relate directly to hiding either the criminal negligence of their donors or increasing costs on every taxpaying family in the state.
