The Cost of Child Porn--Article 3 of 5
Child pornography is a massive, illegal industry generating billions of dollars annually, yet arrests for possession continue to decline as some advocate for normalizing pedophilia.
QUICK REVIEW
In the first article in this series, I covered the Miller decision, which created a community standard to decide if porn should be in a city or state. Once the court reached this decision, the porn producers initiated a market for porn which spread throughout the country and even throughout the world. In the second article, I covered the Ashcroft decision, which made child porn legal if the images were drawn or virtual. The sad part is that when law enforcement arrests people who possess obscene photos or videos of real children also have drawn or virtual images of child porn.
One should not be illegal, while the other is legal. We are facing a distinction between virtual and real child porn without a difference for the end consumer and the children being abused. And for the men and women who fall into a child porn fetish, they don’t avoid using real children because the images they find are “virtual” or “drawn.” When children are the target of abuse, whether the image is virtual or real, then why are Supreme Court Justices, Politicians, and pagan parents arguing for the inclusion of child porn in schools and libraries? What is their goal?
In this article, we are going to dig into the finances of porn and child porn. I think it helps answer some of the questions, but the motivations of each individual are challenging to determine. We have to accept that for some of the people who want child porn in more places, they are groomers and abusers. However, we can’t accuse every person of being a groomer and abuser, but if they are fighting for it, they are at least enablers of these types of people.
Child Porn on the Internet
It’s not easy to get accurate data on modern child porn statistics. The most recent source estimated that 5-10% of all porn produced is child porn. C.K. Hall warns that this statistic is probably low because child abuse is underreported. However, Hall wrote this book in 1987, and its statistics predate the internet. We know online porn distributors like Xhamster, PornHub, and Xvideos (owned by MindGeek) were found to have monetized child porn on their websites. Instagram and Twitter in 2022 (now X) had child porn. A Twitter Exec who fought against Elon Musk taking over the company wrote his dissertation on pedophilia. The Pentagon has had problems with 1700 employee emails linked to child porn.
Child porn is a civilization-rotting issue. However, for all the child porn out there, the most recent statistics from the United States Sentencing Commission show 1,023 arrests in 2020. The number of arrests dropped from 2016 to 1,593 over the four years. However, we know that the production of porn seemed to have increased during that period. Who in the FBI decided to stop pursuing these cases? Why did the DOJ stop pursuing these cases? Did they divert resources to look for reasons to indict Trump and his supporters? If you want a deeper dive than my article on how bad Child Porn has become on the internet, read this article from Arizona State University. It has collected a lot of resources and includes the terms used by pedophiles and law enforcement. So, with so much child porn, why are we including it in schools and libraries? I think it’s because it makes so much money. Publishers are working with the American Library Association to push these books because they will get checked out more and bring in more patrons. For all Emily Drabinski talks about Marxism, she’s acting like an evil capitalist.
GDP of Child Porn
In 2013, HuffPost estimated that Child Porn made up to three billion to twenty billion dollars. It’s hard to know how much money it makes since it is an illegal industry. For example, we can guess how much drug trafficking makes, but we can’t say for sure since drug dealers don’t report income to the IRS. Likely, Child Porn makes 20B, if not more, each year. Since we are 10+ years past this report, we can assume it’s more significant now if the DOJ and FBI have shifted their resources away from prosecuting pedophiles. It’s hard to guess how they have behaved under Biden’s administration, which he has filled with sexual perverts.
Adult Porn is estimated to have made between fifteen billion to ninety-seven billion in 2021. The new OnlyFans model of subscribers-pay-creators generated 2.5 billion in 2022. If child porn made the same amount in 2021 as it did in 2021, it produces 20% of what regular porn makes. It probably made more, but that’s only a guess. For every five people looking at porn right now, one of them is consuming child porn. Those convicted of child porn charges are primarily men–99.7%. The most arrests are occurring in the Western District of Missouri. And we want more porn in our communities? More child porn? Do we think that being drawn or virtual makes it better? And the statistics don’t include the virtual or drawn child porn in our libraries.
EXPLOITATION
The people who are making the money on porn (adult or child) aren’t the actors. It’s exploitative even for adults. A well-known porn actress will only make 1500 a scene. I want to remind you again of Michael Knowles’ interview with a former porn actor. The emotional and spiritual toll is tremendous. It is devastating how many commit suicide. When they do, the Porn distributors will release a “Best of” collection for that actress. Every person who uses porn is exploiting the male and female actors.
Now imagine what it is like for a child who is exploited in the same way. They aren’t even paid, just abused and trafficked. Virtual and drawn child porn increases the amount of children being abused. It may be how a viewer becomes exposed to child porn, and then that viewer looks for real child porn.
Child Porn is a massive industry in our country. It has millions of users in the United States, and it’s not limited to just a thousand arrests yearly. We’re dealing with a system that has decided to stop pursuing child porn and has begun to advocate for pedophiles by describing them as minor-attracted persons. We’re seeing more and more books attempting to sexualize children at a younger age so they can be open to sexual relationships with adults. Next week, I will highlight how education and psychology are behind pushing the acceptance of pedophiles like our culture accepted gay marriage, transgender people, and the sexualization of identity. We used to identify ourselves using higher ideas than us. Now, our culture tells us to identify ourselves by how we choose to use our genitals--like a monkey in the zoo. Groups like the ALA are trying to queer our children and public spaces. They want us to only act on our lowest impulses. They want to prepare our children to be useful idiots in their Marxist revolution, and they don’t care how many children they have to exploit to get to their Communist heaven.
