Citizen Threatens to Sue CCL

Janis Hagen, CCL Board Member, explains that the board sued the board because a private citizen threatened to sue

While I appreciate Janis giving me a chance to interview her, the people who need to answer are the CCL Board’s Lawyer, Harry Styron, and the former President Allyson Tuckness.

Why did they use the excuse of a private citizen threatening to sue as an excuse for lawfare?

Who is this private citizen? Why is he so powerful, but unnamed? He can send comments to the board, but never attends a board meeting to make a public comment?

Is that the will of the public or the tyranny of one?

Even more to the point—why were the concerns of other private citizens of absolute no concern the past two years. Even as the Library violated Sunshine laws and complaints, why did Mr. Styron feel it necessary to sue the Board on behalf of private citizens I made complaints. I had zero interactions from him about violations when the Board was breaking the Subshine laws regarding documents submitted to them.

Who is this special citizen? What is his special relationship to the Board’s Lawyer the former President?
