Strangling the Food Supply
Land Grabs through Non-Profits, supplemented by Tax Dollars
Isaiah 5:8
Woe to the Wicked
8 Woe to those who join house to house, who add field to field, until there is no more room, and you are made to dwell alone in the midst of the land.1
When I was about three years old, I discovered that when friends near my young age were over, I could prevent them from playing with my toys with a simple trick. I would place all of my toys in the crib with my youngest sister and no one would be allowed to take toys away from her because she was a baby. I misused the law of the land to ensure that my demands and wants were met, ignoring the higher morality of sharing.
De Beers performed a very similar tactic as my three-year-old self to keep the price of diamonds artificially inflated in my neighboring state of Arkansas. Diamonds aren’t rare. They are a common byproduct of volcanic activity and we have a geologically active world. I’m not a geologist and neither are most of you, so let’s make this simple. De Beers didn’t want people to have cheap diamonds. They had cornered the market, so their solution to prevent the US from doing what the US does, was to buy the property and then donate it to the government on the condition it could never be used to mine diamonds. To this day, park visitors can get a bucket and a shovel and dig up raw, uncut diamonds and De Beers gets to overcharge for real and synthetic diamonds.
Following along this vein, the Securities and Exchanges Commission has placed up for public comment a new policy and regulation (bypassing our elected representatives) to create a new class of businesses as proposed by the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and Intrinsic Exchange Group (IEG).2 From the SEC website, they state, “The Exchange proposes that Equitable Benefit Sharing Policy must require an equitable benefit sharing arrangement for the distribution of shares of the NAC's common stock to local communities, which the Exchange states would be those who have direct ties to and derive livelihood or cultural values from the applicable area.”3 This sentence says nothing at all about their true intentions, but we’ll dive into that in a second.
What is worse than the SEC deciding to listen to corruptible wealth funds at the NYSE is for them to listen to the United Nations (UN). Using UN language, they want “a commitment to recognize and respect people’s rights in accordance with customary, national, and international human rights laws, in particular those of indigenous peoples.”4 Here is another sentence we’ll unpack soon.
Their goal is to introduce Natural Assets Companies (NACs), which they claim are “fundamentally different from traditional companies because they are chartered to protect, restore, and grow the natural assets under their management to foster healthy ecosystems.”5 They use nice words, but they are aiming for a “truly sustainable economy.” They are “converting the long-understood-but to-date unpriced-value of nature into financial capital.”6 They will be able to borrow against the land, sort of like one uses collateral. However the land’s value will be inflated, giving them a blank check for securing new debt because it is now “protected” from use. These NAC’s, “will be used to manage the specific natural asset and potentially acquire additional natural assets or return value to the owners. Sovereign NAC sponsors might choose to use excess proceeds (beyond those required for management of the natural assets) to fund additional sustainable development projects.”7 We need to pause for a minute to unpack their gobbledygook.8 Below are the definitions to their goblin words.
VOCABULARY TO UNDERSTAND GOVERNMENT AND WEALTH FUNDS THEFT
Equitable Benefit Sharing Policy: We know that you probably gave up racism, but we haven’t. We will buy land based on racist ideologies like Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity and keep land out of the hands of certain people. And we’ll call you racist so you don’t see what we are doing.
Derive Livelihood Or Cultural Values: We must recognize that we are on stolen lands from the Native Americans (who absolutely did not steal the land from anyone else) and we must buy it from white colonizers so we can be forgiven of being white and wealthy while also not giving the land to Native Americans. We are good people.
Sustainable Economy: You don’t need a car or a house or your own property. In fact, why don’t you rent everything you used to own and if you don’t behave, you can’t have anything to rent.
Unpriced-Value: We used to call this inestimable value or priceless. But these words are now “problematic” because they don’t help us increase property values so we can tax everyone to death while our property becomes so valuable, we can never run out of wealth. Eventually, everything you own, we will own.
Nature into Financial Capital: Remember that song about building a parking lot over paradise? We do too and we figured out how to make money off paradise without the parking lot.
Fundamentally Different: So fundamentally different, these NACs aren’t even a real business or a non-profit. We’ll use the words and rules of both to starve as many people as possible. And when we have starved you all, maybe we’ll change the rules again so we can mine all the resources on these natural lands.
Grow the Natural Assets: We will pretend that somehow we are the gods of nature and bring everything into balance. Yet, everyone knows this is a lie and we’ll put a tiny portion of our own money towards nature and use taxpayer money to do the rest.
Healthy Ecosystems: This is completely our opinion, but any time we can see a poor person on their property, we know the ecosystem is unhealthy. We need to buy their property so we don’t have to see the dirty and dispossessed.
Restore: We will get the government to pay us to plant some trees. They help us buy the properties, pay us to maintain them, and then we can tell you we are the most moral people ever in history. Woke Power!
These NAC’s plan to go into rural communities, purchase large tracts of land, and then they will value it based on their opinion. These companies will have the power to decide if the land should be restored to its natural habitat to create their sustainability. Powerful boards, with powerful rich people will buy up land through non-profits using federal and state grants to take the land from everyone else and make sure we can’t use it. Then they can take loans out against the land which is now far more valuable than it had been previously because it’s a nature reserve. This push is being led by a 2030 initiative called “30x30.”
“30x30” in New York means they must conserve 30% of the state by 2030.9 NACs will buy up all this land, locking it away permanently, so there is less land for the commoners, or you know, us. They are trying to sell this evil plan to the people of New York—these giant wealth funds want to save the environment and thus the world. There is no irony in their arguments either—just outright lies with no shame. We are supposed to trust money managers to manage “nature?”
We may think this is a New York problem, but it’s our problem in Missouri and America. It’s a problem for nations in Africa and Asia in the near future and a serious problem in our nation when we start to run out of land which can be used to feed our own population. “Our nation is on track to convert more than 18 million acres of farm and ranch land by 2040–an area the size of South Carolina.”10 Further, they are excited that, “40% of the nation’s farmland is owned by people over 65, which means that up to 370 million acres of farmland could change hands in the next 20 years.”11 Why is this a problem for us? Or for the world?
Each acre of land, roughly, is capable of feeding 1 person a year at least according to this website. “To gauge the average, look at the middle of the chart above the 190 grams of meat per day and you’ll see that this converts to about 0.45 hectares, which is just a bit over one acre.”12 Following the math, if one acre feeds one person, then 18 million people aren’t being fed. This study didn’t reference rich farmland like here in Missouri where there are acres of corn or sorghum for miles. The Farm Bureau states, “One U.S. farm feeds 166 people annually in the U.S. and abroad. The global population is expected to increase by 2.2 billion by 2050, which means the world’s farmers will have to grow about 70% more food than what is now produced.”13 They are referring to a small family farm and not a large Bill Gates corporate farm. Further, “86% of U.S. agricultural products are produced on family farms or ranches.”14 What happens if 10% of those farms disappear? 20%? Where is the tipping point into famine so the wealth managers can have unlimited capital to borrow and shore up their risky investments.
If these large wealth funds start to purchase farmland, how much land has to be bought before it begins to affect food supply? Remember, they hope to lock away as much land as the state of South Carolina by 2040. If this land is average land, that means 18 million people aren’t being fed. If this is rich farmland, some estimates were that up to 4 people per acre could be sustained which means 72 million people aren’t being fed. Not only are they not being fed, but the cost of the food goes up dramatically as the supply decreases.
Their goal is to convince people these giant wealth funds, along with state and federal employees, are moral people helping the planet which means screwing everyday people. This is not a zero-sum game where you have to choose between the two. By giving people independence to make their own decisions, you almost always end up helping the planet. It has always been tyrannies which destroy the planet the fastest. Look at the Caspian Sea under the former USSR as an example.15
Then they pit themselves against the evil people who want to use those resources. (You know those evil people destroying the environment–those farmers and ranchers who own their own land.) Further, buying up land limits people’s ability to be independent and gain wealth. There is a domino effect allowing these wealth managers to become their own fiefdoms supported through the taxes of the people paying higher prices for food and property taxes.
One State Treasurer is standing against this collusion of tyranny between the money-grubbing rich and the incompetent government. According to Marlo Oaks, the Utah State Treasurer, “the rule would allow the @NYSE to list Natural Asset Companies (NACS) as a new type of company for public investment. NACs exist to buy the ecosystem rights to private, federal, and state lands, and to permanently lock them away from productive economic activity.”16 They can lock them away permanently.
He goes on to explain further, “The proposed creation of the [NACs] is one of the greatest threats to rural communities in the history of our country…Under the proposal, private interests, including foreign-owned sovereign wealth funds, could use their capital to purchase or manage farmland, national and state parks, and other mineral-rich areas and stop essential economic activities like farming, grazing, and energy extraction. [Recreation] on Utah’s incredible natural lands could also face serious curtailment.”17 The land becomes useless and has no real value, except for what the NYSE decides to give it.
It’s like buying up all the homes in the community, kicking everyone out, and then being able to borrow against them after I say their value has increased by 1000% percent—and the banks help me do it and get a cut because they are working for me. This is what they are doing with the land.
In 1932-1933, Joseph Stalin decided he knew better than farmers. He created the Holodomor in Ukraine, one of the world’s great breadbaskets. He took the food from the farmers and brought it back to Russia because he had destroyed private property. Millions died in those two years from starvation, and not just in Ukraine. When one man makes a mistake in judgment of a few hundred acres, we all shrug it off. This is why private property and diffused power is so important. When one man makes a mistake in judgment and he owns an empire, millions die.
In the Great Leap Forward, Mao wanted everyone to stop farming and to produce steel. He forced these small rural farmers to give up growing food and made them build small, inefficient steel furnaces. Millions died in starvation–30 to 45 million in total. Mao had decided we didn’t need private property anymore. But did Mao starve with his people? You know the answer. Allowing one bad manager, or a small minority, to make the decisions for everyone because they have power or wealth is tyranny. We need a million managers so that the one bad manager can’t destroy us.
There are many ways to take away private property in this country and mismanage it so it can’t produce food or any other resources. It increases scarcity and at a certain point, scarcity moves us from plenty to famine. And it’s not gradual–it is sudden like not having toilet paper during Covid. These lands are managed by the wealth funds to steal productivity from farmers, food from the American people, and rob generations of independence so they can develop wealth.
The largest non-profit organization buying up farmland is the Church of the Latter Day Saints. They do not lock up the land like the NACs will. However, their land buying squeezes out even more local, small American farmers. We are losing variety, choice, and individualistic capitalism.18
Like my three-year-old self, these money funds are foolish and selfish. They do not have the nation's best interests at heart, nor do they have the moral high ground. They don’t care about mother nature or the land outside of how it enriches them. They are using a false morality to convince you they are doing the “right thing.” I did the same as a three-year old.
I didn’t want my sister to play with the toys either, but I would rather be snakebitten than let someone else play with them. The NYSE and SEC act like elites, but they aren’t. They are toddlers, who have found a clever loophole to bring about their own tyranny, and leave everyone else a looming disaster. Do you want toddlers, with their toddler morality, ruling over you? Shall we abandon your independence to feed their greed?
You don’t have a lot of time to activate your public representative to fight for you and your family. If the SEC passes this rule and allows for the creation of NACs, foreign governments can start buying up our land to starve us. The comment period to stop the theft of private property and farmland (including ranch land), ends Jan. 2nd.
***UPDATE*** The SEC reopened the comment period and extended it because of public outrage.19 Your voice does matter—it always matters. This is the time to speak to your local representatives at the state and federal level.

Having lived on the west coast we were all too familiar with the amount of private ownership of things like aquaphors. For instance, the amount of water that Nestlé owns in California should terrify citizens there. As soon as 'government' can sell off public natural resources we are in trouble.
I knew Bill Gates was buying up farmland but had no idea about NACs. My first impression is great sadness that we have allowed our leaders to put us throw a communist revolution.
Secondly, if you study the farming techniques in the Netherlands, you can see why the globalists tried to take their farms first. They have honed farming tiny plots of land to a science so productive that they are a major exporter of food to the world. Way out of proportion to their available land.
Perhaps we need to begin backyard victory gardens again as an immediate solution to the plans of the elite for our farmland.
